About Ladonna

Hi. I am a licensed teacher and licensed k-12 school counselor with a freelance writing background. I have been caring for children literally since fifth grade. I have a mentally handicapped brother which gave me patience early on and I love to teach, laugh, write, and nurture. I am creative and innovative yet, able to follow standards and guidelines. I am loyal and reliable and maintain high ethics. I love helping, what better way to help than by being a caregiver. I care in and out of homes, day cares , and I have been a live-in nanny for years; I felt that was my calling-to nurture. I love to help children enjoy their childhoods while helping them learn through creative play and art. I enjoy teaching most subjects/grades and alphabet, early phonics/reading, and numbers. I love to cook, laugh and write poetry. I am very creative and love to write. I just published my first poetry book and am working on a children's book currently.
