About Laila

I'd describe my personality as quick-witted, nurturing and adaptable. I like working with kids because the presence of children of all kinds bring me so much joy. I love engaging in conversation, teaching and learning from kids. I'm looking for a job that allows me the space to work in my calling. I truly do feel like I am called to mentor, support, and nurture children so being given that responsibility is something that brings me extreme joy. My first professional job in childcare was when I worked for a church and while in college I've had the opportunity to be an Afterschool teacher for the past 2 years. In my spare time, I love to workout and spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is that I love working with kids so it doesn't really feel like a job for me but I will always make sure to keep an appropriate level of professionalism. My skills include being patient, understanding and entertaining.
