About Latifa

Hello, I am a drama teacher and improv instructor based in East Orange, NJ. I am open to tutoring and babysitting. I enjoy teaching and have been doing so since 2020. I babysat independently for a family with two young sons for a year during the pandemic and helped them to stay on track during school time. I opened an online zoom acting class during the pandemic to give younger children an opportunity to do an extracurricular at a time they could not go outside. I began working at North Star in Newark, NJ in 2022 where I taught performing arts and led the drama club until the end of the 2023 school year. I began babysitting for a family in South Orange in 2023, as well as babysitting my cousin and a family friend's daughter, both are turning two soon. I also teach improv in Maplewood under Rocket Improv from 2021-present and participate as an instructor for their summer camps. I currently work in East Orange as a drama teacher. I am energetic, passionate, and excited to start!
