About Laura

I have experience being a private tutor/assisting tutors while I was in college and currently tutoring on the side as I work part time. I have a passion for education and helping students reach their goals. Committed to providing personalized instruction to ensure each student achieves their highest potential. I like to collaborate with parents to increase student performance however if preferred, I can design and facilitate personalized learning goals and activities that follow a coherent sequence, that are aligned to instructional goals. I will review classroom or curriculum topics and assignments, assist with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research and other academic tasks and work closely with the student so that they understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom.
