About Laura

I am a very active and experienced nanny. I was a preschool teacher for 10 years working with 2, 3 and 4-year-olds. Since then, I have nannied for families for over 15 years, working with children ages infant and up. I was with my last family for 9 years and only recently left as I relocated from Connecticut to Arlington, VA to be closer to my children. I love to be outdoors whether it be going to a playground, zoo, farm or just exploring nature. I like to take advantage of what the library has to offer preschool-aged children and younger; specifically, their programs, reading or just playing and socializing with other children. I am comfortable and love all animals -- especially dogs (I have one of my own!). I am seeking a part time nanny role and am flexible on dates and times. I also have experience as a house manager and am open to those opportunities as well. Excellent references available upon request.
