About Lauran

Hello! My name is Lauran I am a 30-year-old Coast Guard veteran turned Reservist/college student. I have been watching children for families for years. I moved a lot for my job and have always helped out friends and co-workers with watching their children for short notice date nights, or if they just couldn't make it on time to get them from school and I was available to do so. My mother was a preschool teacher for years and we share that love for children, I worked many days with her learning from a master of her trade, we all called her the "baby whisperer" I am not on her level yet but I aspire to be and do my best to keep kids entertained and happy while in my care. As a lifeguard prior to joining the Coast Guard I ran the junior lifeguard program for my beach and taught swimming clinics for kids ranging from ages 4-18. I am CPR and basic first aid certified as well and am happy to prep basic meals and provide any pet care needed as well.
