About Laura

Hello! I am a mom to three school aged children in West Simsbury. I have been working as a professional caregiver since 1998. In my 20's I worked as a nanny for many wonderful families, then I became a birth and postpartum doula in my 30's and have worked intimately in the homes of many families. After beating breast cancer in 2021, I have decided to spend the next chapter of my life volunteering for animal rescues, and being a companion/caregiver to the elderly community and people of all ages undergoing cancer treatment. I am available M-F between 8:30am-12:30 p.m. or 12pm-6 p.m. two days a week. I am very comfortable with animals and can assist with pet care, dog walking, transportation, running errands, and overall help around the house and companionship. I have excellent local references from families. I am highly professional, compassionate, confidential, reliable and very nurturing. I'd love to help anyone that needs care and/or companionship.
