About Laura

Hi, my name is Laura and I live in Rutland. I love working with seniors. I took care of my mom when she lived with us. I prepared her meals, did her laundry, I did her medication every week and her favorite thing, trips to Foxwoods. After she passed, I started volunteering at our senior center delivering meals on wheels. I loved talking with the people I delivered to. I did that for five years. Then I decided to get a job in this field. I've had the pleasure of working for a wonderful couple the last two years, but they need someone that wants fewer hours, so it's time for a new chapter in my life. I do still have one part time job taking care of two seniors. I get their suppers ready, I exercise her, give medications, light cleaning and I get her dressed and ready for bed. I am also working a temporary job nights taking care of a woman with dementia. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I still need a daytime job and I would love to care for your loved one.
