I am a nontraditional student pursuing a BA in Social Work with a minor in Development Psychology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. I have 8 years of Human Resources experience and am in the process of transitioning into the Social Work field. Aside from my traditional work experience, I have received training to be Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED certified and Youth Mental Health First Aid certified. I speak Spanish fluently and can communicate in French at an intermediate level. While I don't have children of my own, I do have a 7-year-old nephew who I love and enjoy spending time with. I am comfortable caring for children with learning differences. I would be comfortable assisting the primary caregiver or being the primary caregiver as needed. Also, I am an animal lover, with two cats of my own at home. I would be comfortable in homes with both human and fur babies.
