About Laurel

Hi! I'm Laurel and I have 10 years of childcare experience, including babysitting kids of all ages, from newborn to 13 years old, as well as years of experience as a camp counselor, tutor, and preschool teacher. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2022 and am living at home in Westchester, NY for a gap year before medical school. In college I majored in Cognitive Neuroscience with minors in Spanish and Children's Studies, through which I gained unique insight into child development. I spent my first gap year as a medical assistant, where I had many pediatric patients. I plan to start medical school this year and aspire to become a pediatrician. I am passionate about forming genuine connections with children and families and actively promoting learning and development. I also love animals and have lots of experience petsitting. I am available for occasional babysitting and pet care!
