About Lauren

My name is Lauren and I am senior in the Elementary Education program at the University of Rhode Island, with a psychology minor and my middle level certificate, with a focus on the Science content area. This spring semester I am full time student teaching in a first grade classroom, and I will be certified in may. I am currently looking for a full time summer nannying position. I have been working in the classroom since I was a freshman in high school, through a 4 year child development program. I also have experience babysitting since I was 15. I have had several long term jobs with many different aged kids. I also maintain strong relationships with families who need occasional help over the years. I was a head preschool teacher in the summer at a local day care last year. In my free time, I have a lot of cool pets and plants, and I love to share my passion for science and nature with kids.
