About Lauren

Hello all! I am an English as a New Language Teacher and look forward to tutoring your child! I have a Childhood Education (grades 1-6) Degree from SUNY Oneonta and a Master's Degree in Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (grades K-12) from Pace University. I have been teaching for the past 6 years as an ENL teacher, so my speciality is English! My experience is mainly with students K-5, but I have worked with high school students as well. I am skilled at supporting student's English language by helping to advance their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. I can help to enhance your child's vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, fluency and confidence with English. I am trained in Fundations & many guides reading programs. I am well versed in all elementary subject areas as I Co-Teach during ELA, Math, science & social studies K-5. I am currently on maternity leave and looking to tutor a few days a week.
