About Lauren

Hi! I'm Lauren! I'm currently a case worker at Family Guidance Center in Hickory Monday-Friday. I majored in Public Health and minored in Poverty Studies, which is a multi-discipline of Sociology, Health Science, and Political Science. I have a special love of Disney classics, art projects, and exploring. I also grew up playing sports so I can run around with the kiddos and am not afraid of getting a little dirt on me. That being said, I am responsible and organized so said dirt will NOT get in the house. Either way, I will not be the babysitter who sits them in front of the tv all day. I was raised to get out and be active unless there was a significant reason to why we could not play and be loud. Please consider me for this position. I am needing supplementary income because nonprofit work is very fulfilling for the soul, but not enough for the bills. Thank you and have a wonderful new year.
