About Lauren

I have always had a natural talent with words. I can help your student organize their thoughts and get them onto paper. I can help your student edit their writing and learn how to best communicate their thoughts in writing with proper grammar and a large vocabulary. I can also teach phonics and beginning reading to younger students. I am also interested in teaching English a second language. I can meet your student at their level and help them thrive. I have have three children and have a lot of experience working with children. I have previously worked as a tutor with Sylvan Learning Centers, as a substitute teacher in public elementary schools, as an art teacher at a summer camp for children and I ran the "homework room" at an after school program.
