About Lauren

I have many years of combined experience in childcare as a nanny, babysitter, tutor, and teaching assistant, all of which I have enjoyed! I have been fortunate enough to have developed trusting relationships with the families I've worked with. I've cared for children of all ages, prepared healthy meals, carpooled to swim practice, navigated camp and sports schedules, and tutored, working mindfully with children of all learning and energy levels. Most recently, I was an assistant teacher for a fourth-grade classroom and did some training as a preschool teacher, both for schools in Brooklyn. In addition to a wide breadth of babysitting experience, I also have two summers of full-time nanny experience. I am also a Master of Social Work candidate at NYU in my final year of studying to become a licensed therapist, and I draw upon my studies to foster healthy, empowered children at all ages and stages of development.
