About Lauren

I'm a fellow mom with a LOT of childcare experience, paid and unpaid including as a camp counselor, substitute teacher, gymnastics and swim teacher, and general babysitting. Most recently, before the birth of my first child, I was a reading specialist at a center for 7 years. I may be able to do some babysitting requests at your home, but I am most available to host childcare at my own clean and safe home where I will also have my sweet and fun 2. 5-year-old son and my easy-going 4-month-old. (This is reflected in my rate). In this way your child would get to socialize with another child their age and feel more like they're at a playdate. I can also provide food free of charge (I cook a lot from scratch). I follow gentle/respectful parenting methods. We don't have a television.
