I was on the path to becoming a preschool teacher, and after 2 years, my creative abilities led me towards a career in the art world. I supported myself during undergrad and graduate school by nannying (I hold a Master's degree in design). After a few years working in offices, I'm looking to return full-time to childcare. During my 2 years as a preschool assistant, I worked with primarily 3-year-olds; but I also led activities for the full range of kids at the school (18 months - 7 years). Art and music are my specialties, and I also love sharing my passion for yoga with little ones! I've cared for babies as young as 5 months old (I'm comfortable with younger), as well as kids with special needs (ADHD, Autism, and Aspergers). Basically, whatever you family's needs are, I am happy to join forces in creating and fostering an environment for developmental growth!
