About Leah

I am an energetic, fun, and responsible sitter who loves kids. I am a senior nursing student at UNC Wilmington but am home until late August. I am looking for a job caring for kids of any age a few days a week or full time. I would love to nanny young kids, keep them entertained, and be someone they can look up to. I can play games, crafts, and come up with new ways to have fun. I am very useful in helping kids with remote learning because I have to learn this way myself so am very familiar with the process. Caring for children has always been something I enjoyed, but really found a love for it when I became a teaching assistant for 1st-5th graders at my church. I worked my way up to headteacher, and volunteered there for over 7 years. I have nanny experience with both younger children and infants, and also have medical experience with newborns in the labor and delivery unit. I am CPR certified and a certified nursing assistant.
