About Leigh

I am 53 yrs old and have 2 BA's In Communications and Early Childhood. I worked in sales for 23 years and then resigned to full time parenting. I raised 2 kids into awesome adults. I had a daycare business in my home for 4 yrs. Additionally, I've been a personal nanny 4 times since I was 18. I'm excellent with infants and have been called the "baby whisperer." I know infants because I have the ability to see their perspective. Even though I'm of "mature" age, I'm still a kid at heart. I'm not embarrassed to act like a kid. I will sing and dance and even get goofy. I taught Kindergarten Sunday school every week for 8 yrs. Some of the teenage helpers were shocked when they witnessed me letting go of regular adult inhibitions. I have a fun and somewhat boisterous personality. If you wanna work with less guilt knowing your child is well taken care of and having a good time AND if you don't mind a sitter who might form a bond with your child, I may be a good fit for your childcare needs.
