Working with children is my passion. It is something that has always come very naturally to me having had two children of my own. I am at present writing a book on rearing children with compassion. I have experience working with children of various ages. I worked for many years with inner city kids and worked in an elementary school teaching 1st graders to read. I really enjoy working with children and keeping them engaged and finding kind, compassionate solutions to challenges that come up. It is no exaggeration to say that Leila has become a part of our family. She began working with us when my son was 2 months old and I had to return to work part time. I was so anxious to leave him with someone new but she immediately set me at ease with her calm, even demeanor, and I knew it would be okay. Leila is incredibly knowledgeable about even the youngest infants and small children, and she has a way about her that makes you feel confident and comfortable. My son (who is now almost 18 months) adores her and we don't know what we'll do without her now that we are moving away! Thank you Leila for all you have done for us! You're a part of our family forever.
