I have been for the past year and am currently working part time at St Columba s Nursery School in upper NW Washington DC. During the summer I also worked during camp and transported and babysat a 3-year-old in his home until parents came home from work. I have been in retail management for many years but have also had my own pet sitting business. I babysat a 3-month-old, toddlers to preschoolers and a 1-year-old with Cerebral Palsey and raised my own son who is now 27. I am enjoying working at St C s and I focus on children who seem to need special attention. That can change daily and really focusing on behaviors can make a big difference. I also enjoy the outside play, art, story and music time. I am close with a lot of the kids and it is a great joy.
