About Leslie

I have over a decade of professional Nanny, 6 yrs of private preschool, 5 yrs of public school experience & 40+yrs of being a Mom. I am well qualified to assist in caring for, nurturing, teaching, playing & engaging with children of all ages. I have cared for newborns to teenagers. I've helped families of one child & those with up to 4. I have also cared for infant twins. I enjoy the laughter & joy of a child. Helping them become strong independent people is rewarding. Learning to feed themselves and communicating their needs brings smiles to us both. I stress manners, music, animals & stopping to watch a bug or a cloud along a journey. I'm also big on parks & new places to explore. Age appropriate crafts are great for a child's creativity. Like my father, I say what I mean and mean what I say yet, never afraid to say, "I'm sorry". Children appreciate honesty & so do I. In my spare time I train dogs & compete in various dog sports. I am very willing to help care for your pets.
