I'm a mother of a grown son. I have worked as a Nanny since 1985. I worked with my first family for 10 years, as well as the second family. After that I went to work in retail, but missed being with the children. I think being a Nanny is the best job in the world. I love watching the little guys grow into the person they are to be. I have had the pleasure of watching them graduate from college, getting married, and starting their own families. I love reading, playing games, coloring, working crafts and just playing with them. To encourage them to use their imagination. I have been known to roll down a hill, to show the little guys how much fun that is. Building a snow man, or a fort out of snow and just going sledding down a hill. I'm not too shabby playing baseball! I love taking them swimming, or going to the park, to have a picnic, and enjoying natural. I believe that children need to be outside and enjoying the beautiful weather. The library should be one of their favorite places to go. To learn how much fun you can have just by reading. Children are our future, it's our job that they are loved, feel safe, and are nurtured.
