Lina applied for a job we posted, did not have a nanny resume ready, but insisted she wanted to talk on the phone. We accepted and let her choose a time for the call. She proposed two time slots, I confirmed one immediatelly, but then she did not reply until both time slot proposals went by. We then allowed her to choose another time for a call. We finally got her confirmation, but when the time came she never showed up (Zoom) and never said anything afterwards. I waited for 30 minutes for her to join the Zoom call, understanding that people could be late for a lot of reasons, get stuck in traffic etc. This is a huge red flag and I would never hire someone so unreliable to take care of my children.
