About Linda

I am 56 years old, recently retired, and have lived in Pleasant Hill for 17 years. I am the mother of five wonderful children ages 18- 35. Most recently, I had the privilege of assisting in the delivery and care of five grandchildren ages 4 years to 4 weeks old. I have loved every minute of it! Through the years, I have participated in co-op sitting with families that I've met through my children's many schools. And of course, I have spent many, many volunteer hours in each of their classrooms. I love engaging children in age appropriate new activities, many can be found outdoors in the backyard and neighborhood. I enjoy taking children to parks, plays, libraries, museums, and zoos, as well as to the pool. I fully understand there are many philosophies on raising children and I will respect yours. I am uniquely qualified to provide excellent care for any age infant/child. I'm happy to help run any household errands and I have reliable transportation and clean driving record. I can help maintain a clean and healthy environment for your child.

Linda was an angel that descended upon our home and made our family with 2 working parents lifestyle SO much better. We have two small children, ages 4 & 2, who I would not say are "easy". Both are incredibly head strong and energetic, but Linda was not phased in the slightest. Quickly Linda had both children in a routine and started to teach them things I could never have thought to teach them (she taught my then 14 month old how to blow his nose!) Linda is not a disinterested caregiver. She gets on their level and plays with them, reads to them, and enriches their lives in the most creative and wonderful ways. It was like having Mary Poppins in our home. To come home after a long day at work to a hot meal, a clean house, and happy children was a dream come true and she made it happen! We will never forget how wonderful our time spent with Linda was and plan to always stay in touch with her.
