I worked as a camp counselor with a wide variety of ages in kids from 6 years old to 14. I also have a large family with 8 nephews and nieces under age 10 whom I babysit and play with much of the time. Additionally I am a full-time teacher who has worked in a 5th grade classroom as well as middle school and high school. I love kids and am loved by kids as well.

Lindsay and I have worked together for the past two and a half years at an Academy as high school Science teachers. I have personally sat in on her classroom and observed her teaching on multiple occasions. She teaches high school Science as well as Math to students with a wide range of abilities. She differentiates her lessons and classroom activities to ensure that every student has an opportunity to succeed. She is a very dedicated individual and often goes above and beyond what is asked of her by staying late and tutoring at lunch. She is enthusiastic about teaching and has implemented many hands-on project-based activities. On a more personal level, she is a responsible, trustworthy individual who I consider to be a great co-worker and friend.
