I have been a private tutor for elementary through high school ages for 10 years in math, English, reading, science, and writing. I have also worked as a tutor for Quinnipiac in college level biology, anatomy, biomedical studies, writing, and English. I absolutely love working with kids of all ages and abilities. I have experience with a range of learning disabilities as well as with kids who just need a little motivation or clarification. One of my specialties is helping to write/edit essays. My goal as a tutor is to increase the student's independence and confidence with studies. The more the student learns skills and habits, the more they will be successful on their own.
