About Lindsey

I love children and have experience watching children ranging in age from newborns up to 5-year-olds. I worked for over 3 years at a daycare in Lawrence, Kansas working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I have worked with kids with developmental disabilities for almost a year. I am patient and don't mind messes, as I know children are very good at making them. When nannying I try to make the environment as fun as possible while also trying to include intellectually stimulating material as that is very important for a growing mind. I have experience with changing diapers, bottle feeding, burping and everything needed to take care of a newborn while also knowing how to keep older children busy and even getting them to nap/sleep, as hard as that is sometimes. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to help any family that needs a caring and responsible person to look after their child when needed.
