About Lisa

Hello! It has been a great joy to me to have spent time and care for so many special people. My early experience was caring for seniors in the Lutheran Nursing Home in New York. Most of the residents were in wheelchairs therefore had to be brought to the dining room to eat. I served the food/drinks and helped them to eat. I then brought them back to their rooms. I also took them to bingo and assisted them with the game. My favorite part of the day was the room visits. I would sit, and talk with them. They really enjoyed my company. I still remember the smiles on their faces. It brings me great pleasure to help people with their needs, to nurture and bring kindness to them or to be able to make them smile. People say that if you love what you do then it doesn't feel like a job. I guess I have been without a job for years! I hope I hope I can care and bring warmth and smiles to your loved one.
