About Lisa

I am a certified General Education/Special Education Teacher who is currently working as a 12th grade English Teacher, however, I taught 9th grade for 18 years. . I am also a single parent to a beautiful 25-year-old daughter with special needs and a 23-year-old son. I enjoy teaching children and assessing them as to where they are and where they need to be. At that point I scaffold on what they already know and build upon their skills and levels to guide them to grade level or above, I enjoy learning, teaching, guiding, managing, going to conferences, workshops, nutritional cleansing, spin class and training. Before I went back to school to be a teacher so I can understand my daughters needs. I was a hair replacement technician. I gave people hair, including patients who lost their hair due to chemotherapy and other various reasons. I have patience, and empathy for all.
