About Lisa

I have taught early childhood classes through my own business, Kindermusik by Lisa. I have experience guiding early childhood educational activities for children newborn (with parents) and also babies, toddlers and school-age children (without parent present). I also have many years watching children at my home and their home, from ages newborn through 14-years-old. I am a background checked volunteer at St. Anne School in Barrington, Illinois. I have assisted in the classroom as a room coordinator, planned social activities for the children, math, reading and writing workshops. I've assisted in the lunchroom and on the playground supervising children. I have studied both child psychology, early childhood development and music and movement in college at Northwestern and through Kindermusik International. I am licensed through Kindermusik for early childhood teaching. I am a very caring and patient person, a mom myself to a 9-year-old boy and an aunt to children from ages 3 to 14. I also have a background in the business world, as well as in insurance, customer service and working in a school setting (Bright Horizons Daycare).
