About Lisa

Animals have been some of my best friends throughout my life. I have extensive experience working with cats, dogs, birds, chickens, and people. Professionally, I have worked as a dog walker and pet sitter through out high school and college. In my own life, I have raised and trained 2 puppies, fostered several dogs, rescued and raised 3 orphaned 6-week-old kittens, raised 15-20 chicks, raised and trained a green cheek conure, lived with and loved many dogs and cats, and cared for senior pets through medical conditions like diabetes, cancer, and heart failure. I also have extensive experience working in mental health care. I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in clinical psychology and interning as a student therapist for older adults. Additionally, I have worked as a behavioral therapist for children on the autism spectrum, with unhoused individuals, on crisis lines, and child care.
