About Lisa

I am looking to provide care for a family in need of a kind natured and well rounded sitter. I am currently employed as a teacher at the middle school level, grades 6-8; however, I am available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends during the school year. I have additional availability in the summer months. I have an extensive background in child care, having grown up in my mom's family daycare, been a mother's helper since the age of 12, babysat and/or worked as a nanny for numerous families in high school, and earned my degree and Masters in Education in college. I have experience caring for children of all ages as well as working with children with disabilities or unique needs. I really enjoy working with children, and have a knack for personalizing activities, games, and sports based on each child's level and/or interest, to keep them engaged. I am reliable, organized, love to cook, play a variety of sports, and enjoy helping children work on these valuable life skills as well.
