I have spent 6 years as a nanny and caretaker of children. I am also a certified Elementary and Special Education teacher. The most important thing to me is the safety of the children in my care. After ensuring safety, I love giving children the opportunity to have fun in ways that embrace their individuality. I had my first long-term nanny job several years ago for 2 young girls and my favorite part of the job was enjoying time with them with different activities that fed into their interests. In college, as an education major, I spent time with children of all ages. I also worked for 2 summers as a camp counselor. I would love to get to know you and hear more about what you are looking for in a sitter or tutor. I current work full time as a Special Education teacher, but I am available for afterschool, summer and weekend tutoring and sitting! I am open to as-needed babysitting jobs, but am actively seeking a summer nanny position for the summer of 2024.
