I have 1 1/2 years experience caring for an 89-year-old client who had a diagnosis of dementia and congestive heart failure. I would go to her home and help with her daily needs: bathing and hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, charting her daily weight and blood pressure, light house work and laundry, assisted her to doctor appointments and provided companionship. I also have extensive work experience (15 plus years) with people who have diagnoses such as quadriplegia and severe cerebral palsy that are bedridden or have to use a wheelchair or walker.
