I worked for the Guardian ad Litem program for 23 years advocating for children then came into the foster care system. I found I was a natural advocate and had an amazing career.. I have such a soft spot for the elderly who no longer care for themselves and need the assistance of someone who will be kind to them and treat them with compassion and dignity they deserve. I am very trustworthy and people seem to be drawn to me immediately.. I cared for my mother for the last couple of years until she passed away in June.. I recently was hired to care for a 96-year-old woman with no family as she was sent home from the hospital to die in her home.. I was hired by the POA that was appointed and he lived in Orlando and trusted her care to me, I did the night shift and also administered medication.. There was a team of four of us and after six weeks she passed away peacefully in her home,, she received the best of care and we all went above and beyond with compassionate care.
