About Lucy

Hello, my name is Lucy and I am a Junior at UWSP. I am in my second semester of the Nursing program training to be a pediatric/NICU nurse. I have completed my Pediatric clinical courses at Marshfield medical center as well as my theory courses on fetal through childhood development and care. I have my CNA certification as well as plenty of childcare training including Infant care, early childhood development and CPR certification. I have experience caring for children of all ages and worked a summer as a daycare/preschool float teacher where I worked with children age 1-6. Some of my passions include singing and dancing. I was a 2 year captain of my High School poms team and I recently started a middle school dance program for the Madison area with one of my old teammates. I have always been a big fan and actually worked as a princess impersonator/singer for a little while. I genuinely adore spending time around children and am honored to be able to work with them.
