About Lucy

I'd describe my personality as responsible, creative, and kind. I like working with kids because they teach me new things every day. I have grown up around children and taking care of them all my life. I'm looking for a job that pushes me to be a better person. I want to build a trust between my employer and I. I also want to build strong relationships with the people I am taking care of. I have 4 younger siblings I learned how to change diapers, hold a crying baby, and cook at a young age. Including and not including my siblings) I like to read books, journal, and go on adventures with my family and friends. I have a large family and attending their school events is one of my favorite activities. I am a certified first responder. I lifeguarded for three years and additionally have a lifeguard instructor license so I can train others to be first responders. I know patience is very essential because sometimes all a child needs is for someone to listen or hold them while they cry.
