About Lydia
I have no paid experience working with seniors, but it is an area I have studied in college and something I have always been interested in doing. I have taken care of my grandparents as they have aged and what mattered most to my grandmother was creating art, sharing meals, giving to those she loved, acknowledging her relationships, and participating in the rituals of daily life. I am passionate about spending time with seniors because I believe we can learn from them and from what they value and help them navigate parts of a bustling and perhaps seemingly abrasive urban environment.
