About Mackenzie

I have experience caring for children ages 3mo - 16yrs. I was the primary caretaker for my sister from ages 3mo onwards which provided me with valuable experience feeding, changing, and caring for infants. With children my duties included picking them up from school, preparing meals, bringing them to afterschool programs, doing homework, and having playtime. For teenagers I would collaborate to make meals, help with homework, and accompany them to various activities around the city. I have experience caring for families with dietary restrictions and aim to collaborate with parents to plan meals. I am willing to help out with household chores, laundry, and light errands as needed. I have over 3 years of experience working for a speech pathologist specializing in early childhood development; this experience included helping to design and assemble a sensory gym for children on the neurodivergent spectrum. I have been a museum educator for over 3 years, teaching a variety of ages.
