About Mackenzie

I'm Mackenzie, an educator and mentor and I am looking for a great family to work with for the summer! I have 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages and I greatly value education, non violent communication and child centered free play. I am open to meal prep, house work, and transportation. I am also interested in teaching children, especially if they want to learn Spanish. I love animals, reading, art, languages, and playing outside. I love taking children out to parks, gardens, museums, and to the pool in the summer. Since I like to be active with children, I do not work with babies. I have a very calm demeanor and I practice mindfulness which is especially great for children that tend to get overly excited or anxious. I am interested in working for a family that is passionate about embodied parenting- I allow kids to feel their emotions and learn to regulate their nervous systems. Vaccinated and Covid conscious.
