About Macklin

Hi, I'm Macklin. I have spent the last 5 years as an educator for grades 5-9 in a public school, teaching drama and musical theater. I can't begin to explain how I have enjoyed every single moment of it. A life change has brought my partner and I to Philly and I am looking for a slight change from teaching. Prior to teaching I spent several years as a private nanny in downtown Princeton to a family with two young boys. I also have experience with families with four kids, families with infants, families with little and big kids. In the past I have also worked as a camp counselor, life guard, and dance instructor. I love kids in general, whether it is help with homework or projects, playing in the backyard or coloring. Snacks after school or rides to dance or karate. I am more than happy to do it all! After the last few years getting to spend almost everyday with children and having them light up my world I hope I get to keep experiencing that joy!
