Hello! I am Ivy, a 19 yr old college Sophomore studying Visual Arts K-12 at Hollins University. I have some experience with kids and feel comfortable with working and teaching them. I was a Lifeguard and Swim teacher at Goldfish Swim School in Alexandria. I also worked at a Summer Camp during the Summer of 2023' called Camp Canopy. I facilitated activities, learning, and overall well-being at this 24-hour, 1 month, sleep-away camp. My group worked with DC teens ages 12-15. I was also an After School Teacher at Life Academy in Roanoke VA for a couple of months while at College this past semester. Kids will always be apart of my life when I become a teacher, so babysitting/nannying is something that I love and something that will prepare me to become a better teacher in the future.
