About Maddie

Hi I'm Maddie! I'm currently a special education teacher in Lafayette, and I teach dance classes locally in the evenings. I'm going back to school for my masters degree, and I'm looking for a summer position to find my tuition and home renovation projects. I have 13 years of experience working with children's all ages, and love animals. I'm not a chef but can do basic cooking tasks, can clean, and have my own transportation. I love kids, and hope that I can be of assistance to your family. This summer I am available full or part time starting May 26th- July 30th. I do have a few dates that I am not available due to vacations and work trainings. The days I'm unavailable are as follows: June 7-14. June 20-21. July 19-23. I also have another work training that needs scheduled but I can be flexible in these training days around your schedule.

Maddie is incredible. She immediately connected with our 6 month old, focused on developmental play, and was phenomenal at getting him down for naps. When he was napping, she would do the dishes and was willing to help around the house. She is responsible, kind, and easy to get along with. I would hire her full time if I could.
