I went back and forth if I was going to even write a review, but I came to the conclusion this might save another mom the stress and frustration. We hired Madison early august for a position starting sept 4th. She fully accepted the position and led us to believe she was 100% committed to it. We had email/text exchanges. A contract was written and approved by Madison and myself. Before the contract was signed, we did try to renegotiate the pay down a little due to the hours she would work/pay seemed high considering it all. However, we agreed to keep the pay in the amount Madison said she felt comfortable with because she led us to believe she was reliable and all in. We liked her enough to think she was worth the price. We had been in talks with Madison since August 2nd being told she was accepting the position. We had made arrangements for her to come over Aug 24th to learn about the child. She texted me Aug 21st letting me she could work a day in sept that she originally couldn’t. Fast forward to aug 23, two days later, I receive an email that she received “an offer that far exceeds the benefits you offered”. She quit before she started and wasted our time. I would be careful hiring her. I cannot attest to her actual sitting services cause she quit before then. However, I can attest to her NOT being reliable, and she wasted our time.
