About Maeve

I have had several jobs that have focused on different aspects of childcare including working as a nanny for a 5-Month-Old, and babysitting for different families with one or more kids (ages ranging from 1-5). I have also worked for the after-school enrichment programs offered at elementary schools in my area, by the YMCA, as a dance instructor and site coordinator. Some of my responsibilities for those jobs included teaching dance styles/routines for groups of children ranging from kindergarten to 4th grade, setting up snacks, taking attendance and making sure the appropriate guardian signed them out at pick-up time, facilitating activities during downtime, and creating a safe and cooperative environment for the kids. Finally, I have also worked for a local theater camp in my area as a camp counselor and choreographer for performances. I have worked with kids of all ages and personalities, and I am patient and understanding so I can ensure an environment of safety and comfort.
