About Maggie

I have always loved working with children and have known that I would be a caregiver. In the past I worked with children through music as a mentor and teacher and also at music day camps in the summer. I worked at a Waldorf school in the early childhood department for 5 years before having my own child. This gave me the opportunity to work with many children between the ages of 3-7 and I have experience working with both large and small groups of children indoors and outdoors. I love sharing music with children of all ages either through singing or playing instruments. I also love telling stories and playing hand/finger games. I have a food handlers permit and prepared hot and cold snacks for the children. I am also CPR, First Aid, and Blood Born Pathogen certified trained and I have my STARS training certification and a Waldorf teaching certificate. I am looking to go back to teaching in a Waldorf school someday, but would love to care for little ones and their families.
