About Mairead

My name is Mairead and I have been working as a childcare provider for 10 years but I also had a full time job as a bartender for 15yrs which I stopped doing in September 2020. I have worked with a wide range of children, from infants to pre-teens. A native of Ireland, I have 6 nieces and 5 nephews scattered around the globe and have worked with Several families in the DMV. I have a great love for being around children and enjoy interacting with them on all levels - from playing games, reading books, arts and crafts, and going on adventures, I am always happiest when we are busy and engaged! I am a warm-hearted, friendly person and am committed to loving and caring for your children as I would my own. I am excited to offer my services to families, and look forward to hearing from you. I don't have kids but as I stated I would love any kid as they would be my own. I really would love to mind younger kids. I am an early bird so would be very happy to find part time Morning hours
