About Makinsey

I absolutely love working with kids, especially babies. I have younger brothers, including one with a 15 year age gap, and one with autism, and I loved helping out growing up. I have been a children's dance teacher for almost 8 years, I have served in my church's children's ministry (taught ages 3-8), babysat/nannied whenever possible. I have a gift for being patient and compassionate. I believe in holding kids accountable in an age-appropriate way, and I do not believe in physical punishments. My husband and I do not have children of our own yet, but are very excited for when that time comes! I do not smoke, drink, or any controlled substance. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, so if you are looking for a Christian we may be an especially great fit, although I don't have to make any mention of faith with your children if you'd rather. I would love to incorporate arts and crafts with your wonderful kiddos-clean up included of course!
