I'm a student at UC Merced and I love working with kids because they bring out so much creativity. Kids have such a special perspective, and I love providing a safe environment for them to do what they love. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself, helping with my younger siblings. When I turned 10, I started helping my neighbors with their littles as a mother's helper, and later became a babysitter around the neighborhood. I recently worked at Camp Fire Central Oregon for the summer program, working with kids ages 4-12 on a variety of STEM, arts, and outdoor activities. I come from a science background, and would consider myself very creative. I am very perseverant and can come up with a fix to just about anything. I love understanding, learning, and teaching.
